In 2013 Bawarrion was founded. The first product was to be an alloy wheel, specifically for the then current Jeep Wrangler JK. The idea behind it was a design that would meet most of the visual desires of the Jeep clientele.
So the decision was made for a drop center, which was made possible by the flat face of the rim. The distinctive shape was given to the wheel by the angular, elongated holes, which are reminiscent of the classic US coffin shape and thus gave the wheel its name with a modified spelling. But the wheel should also set new standards in terms of driving dynamics. In 2013, largely disregarded by other rim manufacturers, attention was paid to the interaction of rim width and offset to obtain an optimized steering roll radius in conjunction with larger tires. In addition, the Bawarrion Coffi' was already hub-centered.
In order to also perfect the newer Jeep Wrangler JL, the mounting holes were later adapted to the thicker M14 wheel studs and with minor changes, while maintaining the relatively low wheel weight, a wheel load was achieved that then also allowed the conversion of vehicles with increased axle loads.
